180 BPM Stride Rate Training Mix.
There is a lot of interest in increasing stride rate or turnover rate, and many people are targeting at least 180 steps per minute as a training goal. I've updated my 180 BPM running mix to help with this.

Increasing stride rate can help you achieve a more natural running form, increasing speed, and minimizing injury.

Welcome to Running Music Mix, a website dedicated to running songs categorized by genre and BPM (beats per minute). This site is a resource for joggers and runners who enjoy running with pace-based workout mixes. Mixes by genre (found on the menu to the left) all contain songs that fall between 135 and 190 BPM. Each mix contains a song list with BPM counts for each song, and a link to the mix on iTunes allowing you to preview the songs. We've also just added a new feature that allows you to add your own mix.

I am a recreational jogger/runner who has been somewhat obsessively collecting my favorite songs that fall into a running and jogging pace. I personally test-run all the songs I put in the featured mixes, and edit and revise them over a few runs before I post them.

Many people have discovered how helpful it is to run with music that syncs up with their steps. If you are one of those folks, I hope you'll enjoy this collection of mixes. Currently I have added the mixes to iTunes in the form of iMixes, which allows you to preview and download individual songs, or entire mixes if you so choose.
